Over the passing of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Georgian and European flags fly at half-mast at the Council of Europe
In grievance over the passing of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Georgian flag flies at half-mast at the Council of Europe. By the decision of the Secretary General Alain Berset, the European flag has also been lowered as a sign of solidarity.
The book of condolences will be opened tomorrow, 20 March, at the Council of Europe (Palais de l'Europe, Salle Berlin), address: 528 Ave. de l’Europe, 67000 Strasbourg, from 09:00h to 18:00h.
As of today, the Delegations may send letters of condolence via email to the Permanent Representation of Georgia to the Council of Europe. The book of condolences will also be open on Saturday, 21 March, at the Permanent Representation of Georgia, address: 6 rue Jean Hermann, 67000 Strasbourg, from 11:00h to 16:00h.
