Secretary General of the Council of Europe visits Georgia

On 17 December 2024, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, arrived in Georgia on an official visit.

At Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport, Alain Berset was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Darsalia.

During the visit, Alain Berset will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, the President-elect, Mikheil Kavelashvili, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili.

The official visit of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe to Georgia will take place from 17 to 21 December.a
